About Me

 Hi everyone! My name is Anna and I am a BioHealth Science student here at OSU. I am also minoring in Psychology. I am from Beavercreek, OR ( a small town outside of Portland) and am currently living in Corvallis for school! I have absolutely no idea what I want to pursue after school, but I do know that I would love to work in the health field. With that being said, I am not certain that I will end up there. My current job is the Athletics Events Assistant here at OSU and I am having way more fun with that than I ever thought I would. So, I guess we will see! 

An interesting fact about myself is that I am an identical twin! I have an identical twin sister and we are absolute best friends. We do so many things together and have grown up so close. We shared a room for 15 years before we moved to Beavercreek! We are even living together here in Corvallis. Here is a picture of us! 



I think I would appreciate learning about the "business ways" of online communication like professional emails and such. I have come to realize that not many people are aware of how to write a professional email and I think more knowledge about this will help me professionally. 

I usually use Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, and Pinterest to interact with friends and family far away, and to be inspired to try new things. 

I have not taken a communication course before so I am excited to do so!

Relating to Knapps Relational Model

 KNAPPS RELATIONAL MODEL is a very interesting theory that I had never heard about until this week. This model, shown below, is a diagram that shows an interpersonal relationship between two people and how it can develop. Knapp describes it as not always an exact model, some relationships stop in a certain spot and are steady, others move back and forth, and some never go past initiating. This model is said to be "coming together vs coming apart" model referencing relationships and how the grow/develop.  An example of an interpersonal relationship in my life that fits this model is a relationship I have with my identical twin sister.
